Stretching and a bath always helps me. And I also try to keep active even if I’m sore as it’s helped keep the pain at bay most of the time.
My body is pretty accustomed to my routine as I been doing it years, but on bad days I just take some aspirin
Stretching, a shower, a snack and water, asprin, massage, and rest
