So context I (22f) and my fiance (20m) just had twins recently. We are excited to be new parents. He works while I stay at home with them. Here the issue, he started working at this place being a manager, and told me Bout everyone in his crew besides this girl named Paige (17-19f). The only time he mentioned her was when I went to pick him up from work and she was giving me dirty looks and I asked who she was. He defended her and said She had a bad day or something I let it go. But here yesterday I went up to his work with my younger brother and the twins, this girl shows up with some friends and her and my fiance started talking he was complimenting her for being a hard worker and saying if he becomes gm she’ll be a manager, a bit later I went over to him cause I needed to talk to him about the twins and I’m standing right by him, he continues to talk to her until I spoke and gave my input in the conversation, he says “oh yeah this is my fiance” and she laughed like chuckled. Why did she give me a look and why did she laugh at the fact I’m his fiance? I asked him why did she laugh and he said “maybe is because I didn’t say anything until you spoke” I’m not sure I just have a bad feeling about her and this situation. Please give me advice I’ll really appreciate it.

Have you asked him? If not, just confront him. She could have a crush on him and doesn’t like that you’re in the picture. Or maybe they are having some sort of affair. Not enough information to know for sure. Really examine your relationship, do you notice any other red flag behavior not related to cheating ?

It’s definitely suspicious but it could just be her wanting him or they could be up to something. Best thing to do is have a open and honest conversation about how she makes you feel uneasy. You will find your answer in how he reacts to the conversation. If he’s sad you feel that way and tries to fix it immediately you are good and if he gets defensive you are not. That’s obviously a broad generalization but you know him and should be able to spot if he is guilty once you bring up your feelings.
