Pretty much what the title says. I’ve gotten so much better in the social department. But there’s this one annoying problem I can’t seem to figure out. It’s when I’m standing around waiting for someone, or for someone to acknowledge me, or anything where I have to wait while others are present I’m so so awkward. Looking around, being hyper aware of what my body is doing, trying not to look at any specific person a creepy amount, pretending to check my phone… Wtf do other people do while they’re standing around because I feel like I never see other people doing all that.

What type of social situations do you find yourself in when you have to wait awkwardly?
I like listening to podcasts with bluetooth earbuds, if the wait is long enough.
I just screw around on my phone.
