A friend of mine at school today asked me “how are you so not awful in an awful world?” I asked him what he meant and he just said never mind so I let it go. I just can’t seem to get it off my mind and I’m not even sure if it was a compliment or not. All I did to prompt his saying that was come back from the cafeteria with my daily diet soda that I normally get from the vending machines but they were out. I am just not sure what to make if this. Is it a reference I’m missing? A song lyric? I’m regretting never asking for clarification.
