I keep getting ads on social media to buy tickets for a lottery with a chance to win rare/classic/JDM cars, aside from the obvious that it’s a lottery designed to take your money, has anyone actually ever won these things? Do they just have the car on hand or do they bait people with pictures of cars that they promise to deliver at a later time?

Look up the account on social media that the account is not on, a google of the name will do to bring up red flags if they exist.
Lottery adverts are a mixed bag, there are scam and legit ones out there.
BOTB is just a spot the ball competition that has been dressed up. The odds of winning are pretty slim, but they seem legitimate insofar as they do actually give away their prizes.
It’s an expensive gambling habit.
I’m sure the Omaze one is a scam.
