  1. Sit ups and crunches.

    Abdominal muscles are often overlooked, in terms of lower back support and health.

  2. 500 push-ups a day for 6 days a week for 2 weeks will change your life. You’ll never see faster results for the least amount of effort.

  3. Yoga. Seriously, there are yoga classes devoted solely to building and maintaining strong back muscles.

  4. Pushups and sit ups help a lot. Arm placement makes a difference to whether you are using chest or back though
