I (25M) have a crush on this girl (24F). She was my junior in high school and I’m a year older than her. I slid into her dm saying we went to the same school. At first, she didn’t recognize me. After sharing a photo of myself in high school, she later recognized who I was. Then I asked her about other things and the conversation was going great. She knew I was flirting with her and we’ve had the conversation for 2 days. But then, I decided to ask whether she would like to hang out sometimes later when she’s free. She didn’t reply to my message for a while and then she uploaded an instagram story with the caption “the most random conversation I’ve had”. Instantly, I knew that instagram story was meant for me. I have never dated before so I don’t know what I should do now. Should I just leave the messages as it is or should I change the topic of the conversation? Just want to know if it’s a sign that she’s losing interest. Please help your fellow comrade here. Thanks for reading.

Update: She texted me back and said she would rather get to know more about me first before thinking of hanging out together. We continue our conversation normally now. Thank you everyone for reaching out. I really appreciate it. 🙂

I would wait for her response and, if she doesn’t respond, then maybe just leave it be for now. How long has it been since she you asked?
If she didn’t reply to you, pls don’t double text, u guys barely know each other, she either replies or she doesn’t, if she doesn’t she’s not interested, simple as that. She would be turned off even more if u asked her abt the story/asked her why she didn’t reply u
Awwwww if she hasn’t replied just don’t say anything else. Unfortunately, it sounds like she’s not interested. I’m not too sure if the Instagram story was about you though. If she wants to continue the convo she will, but for now just leave it as is.
