Scowling. Def unapproachable. Try a pleasant relaxed countenance.
Sometimes it’s not categorizable. I don:t have resting bitch or angry face, but I come across as serious, unapproachable and intimidating when I’m not interacting with people.
I’ve asked, but no real good answers.
I feel like I’m pretty approachable-looking and feeling. I’m not intimidating, like big or strong or anything, but I naturally smile a lot and I guess I have some physical quirks that make me appear young. Like, kid-like? Like, I’ll fiddle with my hands or hair or bite my lips a lot. They’re just my silly habits, you don’t have to incorporate any of that to be approachable of ‘course but I guess showing your human side, or expressing a silly or casual side to you can help?
If someone approaches me, or if I approachable them, I try to be kind and helpful, and sometimes I’m a little open about how anxious I might feel because sometimes people feel anxious too and it helps to know your not the only one. My voice is pretty soft, so I suppose that must add an effect.
I dunno. Maybe that doesn’t help you but that’s what I do. I just try to seem as non-threatening as possible by doing very non-threatening things, honestly
