Hey everyone, I’ve been applying to jobs for a while via linkedin and suddenly I’ve been getting calls from telemarketers or accident hotlines etc. My number is on my CV for call backs etc. Clearly someone has sold my personal information forward to these companies as they know my name when they call. Is there anything I can do to stop these calls and stop this from happening further? (I know I can just remove my number frok my CV but I legit receive more calls than emails regarding jobs).

The telephone preference service is the place to log your number, you shouldn’t get spam calls … or as many anyway!
Get a new phone number !
When they call, ask them where they found your number – then you know where it’s been leaked/posted and who to ask to remove it. my CV was on a site called CV-library and I thought I’d removed it but apparently not…
