Later this week, I’m going to a social meet up group for LGBTQ young adults. I’ve never been before and I’m super nervous.
– I have bad social anxiety and am very insecure of myself.
– I struggle in group social situations because I can rarely ever find the right moment to say something, like I’m waiting for a pause but someone else always talks so I never get to say anything.
– Often by the time I have thought of something to say and have the courage to say it, the subject has passed and I’ve missed the opportunity.
– If I do get to talk, I sometimes end up talking too much or too fast because of nerves.

Does anyone have any advice?? 🙂
