So I(18M) met this girl(19 F) on a dating app, in her bio she was pretty clear about looking for friends, but she also said she would be fine if things escalated. I’ve started to feel for her but since we agreed to start as friends I’m not sure where to go from here. Especially since I’ve never been romantically involved with someone so I’m really out of my element.
We’ve gone out together a couple of times now and everytime we do, our physical intimacy increases. We lean on each other when we walk and sit and make lots of eye contact. I would like to do more but because of the afformentioned friend thing im not sure if that would be weird. We typically spend hours together and I think she’s having fun when we’re together.
Everytime I touch her she doesn’t pull away but she also never initiates. She’s also has been getting colder over text even though when are out together irl there seems to be a good mood around us.
I just don’t know where to go from here. Not sure if I should ask her if she wants to date or if I should ask if she sees this becoming more or if I’m just reading too much into this. Any advice would be really appreciated because I’m just really confused
