So I’m (20m) chatting w this girl over Snapchat right, and the convo is flowing well but like she takes ages to respond between texts. Like hours. But I don’t get it cause if she was tryna end the convo and jus not talk there would’ve been like 10 different exits but she’s like active in the conversation but I don’t wanna sit by the phone and jus talk every few hours during the day yk?
Not rlly asking for any advice, but like what would y’all do cause she’s like actively participating in the convo, longish messages and asking questions bout me but takes forever to respond and can see she was active during those long breaks.
I can’t just sit by and wait cause then I’ll just be constantly waiting and maybe setting myself up for disappointment.

I think most guys go through this at some point. Either she’s busy or it’s polite disinterest.
You are setting yourself up for disappointment by having any expectations. Take it at face value. Never invest yourself more than the other person. Hope for the best, expect the worst, and you won’t be *as* disappointed. And talk to more people at once.
