I work in a moderately sized company. Hundreds of people in the building. Should I say hi to everyone I walk past?? Should I say hi again to the person I said hi to a few hours ago?? Should I make eye contact with the person I’m walking past??
Assume I don’t know anyone I’m walking past and never talked to them.

Try talking to your colleagues for example go for lunch together.
Yes, you should say hi to your coworkers and acknowledge them with eye contact when you past in the hall.
Hopefully soon you get past “hi” and start chatting about what they do at your company, coffee, the weather, that crazy meeting, or whatever.
Next thing you know, bam, work friends!
