women with naturally curly/wavy hair, do you embrace your hair or do you straighten it ? and how do you take care of it ?

  1. I have naturally curly hair and I embrace it now, because I hated buying a new straightener every few years to keep up with that maintenance.
Embrace your natural beauty!! I just shower with mostly dove products for my hair because they cooperate the best and use this herbal essence spray it’s an argan and aloe Vera oil spray, and the other one I like is the hemp and aloe one they have. Hemp seed products are usually very good for people with curly hair because of the vitamins in hemp. Best of luck to you !!

  2. I had to learn on my own, which lead to me always straightening it to avoid a wild mess. As I’ve got older and more experienced at dealing with it, I’ve found myself embracing it.

  3. I embrace it. I straighten my hair twice a year for a length check but that’s it.

  4. Straighten. I find it muuuch easier to maintain, and prefer how it looks.

I wash twice a week with shampoo and conditioner, then use a heat protector and dry with a dryer brush. Sometimes I finish with a straightener before leaving the house if my bangs look weird.

  5. It took me until I was 18 to like it…it took me that long to figure out I needed different hair products.

Moisturise like nothing else…multiple layers of moisturising! Let it air dry…don’t touch it between applying products to wet hair, until it is completely dry. Don’t drive with the window down on the same side of the car as you are sitting! Let long hair dry in a t-shirt turban.

  6. Embrace. Good shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner, basically being kind on the heat and brushing (as little as possible.)

  7. I straightened it until one day in my 20s I got caught in the rain and discovered how fantastic my curls looked when I let my hair dry naturally. Been embracing the curls ever since. I just make sure to condition thoroughly since I don’t have the right skin type to get away with not shampooing daily, unfortunately. As long as I put some kind of de-frizzing product in right after I shower I’m good!

  8. Embrace. I didn’t know how to deal with it growing up so it was frizzy then I straightened it as I got older. When I was around 20 I let it dry naturally and never looked back. Everyone’s hair is different, even mine doesn’t dry the same twice but the main things are: don’t brush it (comb conditioner through though), leave to dry naturally, don’t use shampoo and find products that suit your hair. In some ways I love that it’s easy as I don’t have to dry it but washing it is a process 😂
