Despite the space between his active years and now– John Adams. Education, forward thinking, fair and civil minded, separation of church and state, obsessed with accomplishment and work and not wealth.
Elon Musk.
Dolly Parton.
She’s not from Texas. But, she is my default person to represent anywhere, any group, any place, anytime, or any….any.
For me? She’s just the best representative of all of us.
Probably Alabama coach Paul “Bear” Bryant.

Kurt Angle
Bill Burr.
Loretta Lynn.
Donald Glover, because why not?
me
Bob Ross
Bob Uecker. He’s kind of a national treasure.
Willie Nelson. He’s the Texan that all Texans should be
I’ll do it
Johnny Cash
John Waters.
Dolly Parton.
LePage just to infuriate people
J Cole
The middle aged Mormon guy that cut me off and then rolled down his window in the McDonald’s parking lot to yell at me about how I “almost rear ended him” even though he literally cut across two lanes of traffic and caused several people, including me, to slam on our brakes to not hit him.
That guy is pretty Utah.
Edit: typo
John Fetterman, who’s pretty close to having the job anyways.
Ned Lamont.
Pick an astronaut, any astronaut
My high school history teacher Mr. Andersen. He was cool.
Medgar Evers would have my vote. He embodies the mindset that I’d like my state to have, although it’s a struggle to make that an actuality.
Schwarzenegger.
He’s not originally from California, but he made a life here in our weird melting pot. He’s way less leftist than some of the stereotypes about Californians (he ran as a Republican when he was elected governor.). If you listen to right wing media, California sounds like one giant socialist commune with nothing but anti American indoctrination camps. In reality it’s one of the few places where there’s still an outside chance of being able to live the classic American Dream without being born into a powerful family.
Not Dr. Oz
Jason Momoa lived in my state before he became famous and comes back a lot to visit.
Slipknot could be an honorable mention as well as Elijah Wood, Ashton Kutcher, and John Wayne.
Any 50 year old wearing Missouri Tigers merch will do.
Jeff Daniels (Michigan)
Chef James Beard of Oregon.
His culinary impact continues 40 Yeats after his death. The recognition of chefs, restaurants, and the culture of food in America is Chefs legacy.
The James Beard Awards given annually are the most prestigious of American cooking, ànd culture.
Alabama Man
If a Celeb – Honestly, I was not the BIGGEST fan of his governorship, but it oddly adds to the rep potential. Arnold Schwarzenegger
I wish he was as hard on Climate change as Brown, but he isn’t bad

If a politician – I have to go with Jerry Brown.

If a B/C level celebrity – I have to go with Tony Hawk. [Just do a kick flip](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ob0dI05Xz8s&t=244s)
Edit to add – the # of people in this video who still don’t know it is Tony hawk is peak tony hawk
