I’ve known this girl for a year but we never really talked much. I like her tho and I’m definitely considering asking her out. Recently we had short conversation. It lasted around a minute since we both were in a hurry. But it was so awkward, I still can’t get over it. Usually I don’t have problems talking to girls, this time I did. Hopefully she isn’t overthinking it or thinking about it as much as I do. Am I overreacting? Can that 1 minute conversation leave a bad mark?

You’ve “known” her for a year despite never talking? I would try to talk to her man without making it look forceful or her uncomfortable.
If it feels awkard again, I’d move on man. Make an effort to build rapport and get a girl laughing in less than a year next time.
