Her asking you whether she can bring a friend is fair enough, now it’s up to you to phrase what you want in the most appropriate way.
“Oh, I would prefer to hang out with you and catch up – let’s hangout together with friend xyz the next time?”
A deeper issue is indeed that you feel the way you do about the friendship. She lives a drastically different life and only has so much free time available to meet with you – that is not her fault. If I were you, I would be happy that she does want to meet and spend time together, but also try and add more relationships I enjoy.
