A question about oral and mouthwash.

So this one may be more for the UK’ers. There may be other equivalent mouthwashes in other countries but here goes.
Partner is currently using corsodyl mouthwash. Now this isn’t minty fresh tingly mouthwash. It’s more antiseptic, tastes like torture in your mouth. maybe TCP for your mouth if that’s a global item.
He tried initiating a bit of oral this morning. I said no sir, not right after that horrible stuff will still be lingering.
He looked like I had murdered a kitten.
I’m all up for a bit of minty fresh tingle, but not that?!
