What is a social expectation that you think people have of you that causes anxiety?

For example, I feel like I have to be entertaining for people to want to be around me, but it not (always) true.

I know this is something that can drive my anxiety, and I’m curious to see what causes other people’s anxiety when they are around others.

  1. To match whatever idea they have already constructed about me in their head. I find it that instead of asking questions, people tend to tell me their assumptions and expect to be right. Often they assume I have same opinions as they do, like same things, have same goals. And if I say something that doesn’t match what they’ve assumed, they get annoyed and disappointed.
