It’s almost easier when they’re a terrible person. Ideally it should be in person, right? Seems wrong to make plans to get together, only to break up.

I’m talking about someone you’ve been dating for a few months, not someone you’ve met a few times.

  1. I’d just meet somewhere and just lay it all out in person. Doing it in a text is a cop out

  2. You can say it over the phone or in person when meet.
    It is better to meet.
    But there is no need to emphasize that you are bad or everything is because of you, and that person is good.
    You are simply incompatible. You can’t sweeten the pain of breaking up with any compliments, unfortunately.
