I am a massive Dom (24M) and I really enjoy giving pleasure and rewards. I also enjoy collaring people when it feels right to establish the dom-sub connection and the exclusivity. As a Dom, what collars do you enjoy putting on a sub? Do you prefer subtle and classy or obvious and kinky? Same question to subs, but what do you prefer to wear?

In scenes, sessions, moments, I really enjoy straight up leather collars. I tend to give different ones to different partners depending on their personality. One person might be a studded collar kinda person to me while another may be an o-ring and leash pet, while someone else might be a simple choker kinda person, etc. Out in the real world simple o-ring or nickname necklaces are pretty nice for day collars, especially when you get one that works with their personal aesthetic whether it’s goth or bougie or plain Jane.
Many women prefer a necklace with patent leather leashes with soft suede, as it can be worn for a long time and looks beautiful. Some Dom unfasten the leash, but leave the choker on the Sub, thereby saying that the sub after the game is still his slave. Now models of chokers are created for such purposes.
From both perspective, we got a really fancy looking one and it’s great however, it’s a bit of pain to put on. I don’t mind it being uncomfortable, frankly I think that’s hot, but the effort it takes to get the thing on is actually the criterium I’ll be looking at for future buys. As a result we barely use it.
At this point I’m actually thinking of getting regular dog collars lol, at least those I can easily shop for decent prices and it’s kinda fun also in a pet-type semi-(consentually)degrading way. Looking forward to read this thread.
Any suggestions for vegan collar for my gf? She used to dress goth but has gone plain jane these days
