I (M18 Senior HS) asked a girl out (F18 Senior HS) who I had been talking to and getting great vibes from and flirting w over text and the times we’d seen each other in person. She said she has dance which I am certain isn’t BS cause she on Varisty dance team and Ik they have a performance this Friday (day I’d asked if she could go out on) and Saturday. I had asked her to go to haunted house thing, scream zone, which is an October Attraction that pops up in my city. I responded with “I get it, scream zone is scary” she said “funny” and then “I think I’m going next weekend tho” and I have no clue how to respond. I don’t know any of her friends and I don’t wanna meet them on a somewhat first date but also don’t wanna ask her for a different date (different thing we’d do cause don’t wanna have her go to that twice) cause that seems desperate and so I just have no clue what to respond with. Help is appreciated.
TL/DR: asked girl out who is LEGITIMATELY busy the night I’d ask for. We’ve had great vibes and been rly flirty w each other over text plus I’ve heard from some of her friends she into me. But idk what to say now.

Don’t invite yourself to her thing…she could be going on a date or out with friends.
Just see if she wants to do something else. Maybe, “want to hang out when you’re done?” or ask her out to something else.
