I have a naturally hairy body. I shave/use hair removal and have for the last few years. I’m on a break from my gf and haven’t kept up with grooming.
I notice when i’m regularly shaved sometimes my ass smells like sweaty ass after a long day. But because i’m unshaved rn it’s smelling much stronger. Is this a thing? and if so, how do hairy guys keep it smelling somewhat fresh?

start washing your ass crack when in the shower. really get in there. your hair picks up on all the bacteria and poo
Generally, hair does absorb sweat, and if your sweat smells rather badly, this can result in a stronger odour.
Furthermore, more hair may result in more dead skin due to less friction and direct contact during washing/exfoliation. This can also lead to the smell.
In my Experience, the smell can be kept in check with constant and thorough showering and washing, but shaving can definitely help.
