Recently the past couple weeks I’ve been going on study dates with this guy I met in class. We meet up at the same spot once a week to get coffee, study and just chat
He’s really chill sweet and funny. He has this way of talking that’s really attractive but he’s also very much the strong silent type and it’s hot af…He doesn’t say much but when he does it’s hilarious or a really thoughtful question
Like today we sat together for over an hour with looong periods of silence. It didn’t even feel awkward it was actually relaxing and comforting not feeling pressured into talking. I feel really safe around him. He never tries to hit on me but he’s just kinda naturally funny and flirty. He treats me like a human being. This guy is like a rock. I can’t get over how safe I felt today, I could just sit there quietly with a guy for over an hour without having to worry about him hitting on me or feeling pressured into a conversation
I really hope this develops further but he’s so mysterious and I can tell he’s shy behind that tough exterior. I feel it’s gonna be hard to climb off whatever walls he has up

With those type of men my advice is to be clear with your language, set soft expectations, and be patient as he works on meeting those expectations. Those kind of guys are great at surprising you because they dont let their inner voice out much so they will work hard in the background trying to move the relationship forward. Just avoid hints and unclear signals because he doesn’t talk enough to give a lot of feedback.
