I was just with a woman I have been talking to, and we made out for about an hour or so. I ended up fingering her and we dry humped but a few times she told me to not kiss as hard, saying I was “sucking her face off”. It has honestly bothered me because I was just kissing her instinctively, given what else was going on. Anyways, what makes someone a good or bad kisser? Different people want different things.
It’s not so much a good or bad thing per say, all down to personal preference.
This will sound very generalised but it’s purely my own limited experience.
Over the years whenever I’ve met men and we’ve ended up kissing, for whatever reason they have always tried to really press their face against mine and usually always tried to tongue kiss or think I have no feelings in my lips and need to grind their mouth against my face, which to me is a total turn off instantly and for anything else following.
When I’ve been with women, the kissing has been really soft and gentle, like that feeling when you glide your finger super gently over your skin and you get that tingling sensation from it, that’s how I’ve normally been with women and more so them with me, and that for me personally is such a turn on.
I rarely watch porn so I’m not sure if it is something guys have learned from that or not, maybe other users could comment their views and experiences too, but that could be what she meant by being too rough with the kissing.
But I wanna stress that it is not a right or wrong thing, it is a personal preference we all have, and it’s probably better to start off softly and go harder if the girl wants you to than go in full force to start with.
Nothing to beat yaself up over, all learning experiences at end of the day.
This is one of those things that, while not meaningless, is such a specific thing. Some people could love wet, sloppy face sucking while others like soft gentle kisses with no saliva and no tongue. It’s entirely subjective.
What matters is she’s not a fan, so ask her to demonstrate what she likes.
