I could be the best boyfriend on planet earth for her. Supportive, caring, brave, funny, all that. Someone you could fall for. But when it comes to intimacy, I’m afraid that, because of how I look, she won’t really want me. She’ll fake pleasure just to please me.

I know that sounds dumb. But it’s a legitimate fear I have.

  1. Read up on attachment theory and consider getting some therapy. These feelings of unworthiness don’t usually go away on their own.

  2. People now have all kinds of terms to define sexuality and one of them is demisexuality. Demisexuals are not attracted by looks, but by the emotional bond they share.

    Looks aren’t as important to some people.
