He considers himself a pimp and made money off of porn. Was accused of murder like OJ Simpson. Has been accused of sexual assault. Also is very homophobic and transphobic.

Yet he is plastered all over tv.

Why does he get a pass? Asking as someone from Central America?

  1. He talks funny, is amusingly blatant about weed and does meme worthy shit like hanging with Martha.

Yes, the court of public opinion is THAT basic. You can get away with a lot if you seem like you’d be cool to hang with.

  2. Him and Martha Stewart found a way to cash in on their criminal history in a way that is accepted by corporate America and the average consumer

  3. He committed his worst crimes in a time before there was much media scrutiny on him. Endorsing Caruso was a pretty embarrassing recent move, though.

  4. >He considers himself a pimp

He gave pimping a shot for like a year in 2003 lol.

    >and made money off of porn

I’m not sure why you think this is relevant to whether or not someone gets a “pass.”

The pornographic industry in the United States is a legal one.

    >Was accused of murder like OJ Simpson

Snoop’s bodyguard shot somebody. OJ did the deed himself. Two wildly different circumstances.

    >Has been accused of sexual assault.

That case was dropped by the plaintiff.

    >Also is very homophobic and transphobic.

He’s a 50 year old black man from the hood lol.

  5. You can get away with a lot when you just dont care what others have to say about it. Definitely a strat to live by

  6. Because Snoop is a great guy, easy to like, and a complete national treasure. He’s awesome. And he even collaborated with Count Bass D!

  7. I can’t say anything about the other points, but making money off porn is fine. While some Americans might consider it shameful or whatever nonsense, most Americans don’t consider it a moral wrong or something.
