I plan on confessing to my crush on the 30th, I’m doing it in person, but more or less, this is what I plan on saying, I just want advice on how I could make this better maybe, it’s kind all over the place, so yeah, anyways, this is what I plan on saying, enjoy:
“Hey, I just need to get this off my chest real quick, and then you can move back. I’m not trying to pressure you into something or make things awkward, I just need to say it because if I don’t, it will eat me up inside.
There is a movie quote from the movie “We bought a zoo,” that goes something like, “Sometimes all you need is 20 seconds of insane courage, just literally 20 seconds of embarrassing bravery, and I promise you something great will come of it.” So, here is my 20 seconds of bravery, my action so that I might never regret my inaction.
I. Like. You.
I know you don’t like me back, so I’m not going to ask you out. If I were allowed to go, I would have asked you to homecoming, but that didn’t happen. We likely wont have any classes together next year, and you aren’t doing marching band, so we probably won’t see each other very much, so it was now or the end of this year for me to tell you, and I felt like now, at the end of our marching band season, is a better time. Anyways, I’m gonna give you space, you can talk to me when you want, if you want, and things don’t need to be awkward.”

If you already know they don’t feel the same way, do not tell them.
Two to three sentences is the most that you should make something like this. Something about how it’s important for you to say what you need to say. A second statement about the qualities that you see in her. A third sentence which says “I like you, and I’m not here to put you on the spot, but if there’s something that you want to say I’d hear it, Whatever It Is.”
