Wanting to try CNC but don’t know how to propose it

I(f) have been with my partner (m) for over a year I started to notice how I would fantasize about CNC but I don’t know how to tell him! I don’t know if this is a common thing and a part of me feels wrong for wanting this but that feeling of being over-powered gets me off. My partner really is all about consent and I don’t know how he would feel about all this. What would or have you guys said to get this on the table and explain what it is to him without putting him off the idea?
