What’s your absolute favorite moment of 2022 so far?

1. The part where I thought 2021 was the worst of it and that 2022 would be a good year. So Jan 1st.

2. I passed a vital exam which lets me further my career. Instantly cut my stress levels in half

3. Where I live, we had an almost two month period of consistent overcast weather from some time in January into March. It goes without saying but it was also quite cold the entire time, until one Saturday a warm front just blew the clouds away and the temperature surged into the 70s.

   No one knew what to do with themselves. Some folks wore tank tops, shorts and flip flops while others kept their winter coats on. Some people tried to swim in the nearby lake. (Bad idea – one day of warm weather doesn’t heat up a deep lake much.) Lots of people kinda aimlessly wandered on the streets and in the parks, in a daze.

   Of course, by nightfall rain had moved in and it was cold and cloudy again the next morning, but *that day*…

4. Taking my kids to Universal Studios Hollywood this summer.

   It was my first vacation with my kids as a single dad and was a huge hit!

5. Blink 182 charging $2k per ticket

6. Getting certified to scuba dive.

7. Finally going to a festival again. I really missed it

8. Going to watch Minions rise of Gru

9. Getting out of the hospital after an Aortic Valve Replacement feeling great!

10. Me swiftly dispatching the cancer I was diagnosed with in March and hitting remission
