if a person only watches one season of American horror story, which season should they watch?

1. Cult. Easily the scariest, no contest.

2. My favorite was the first season!

   You do not have to watch them in order. They are all separate stories.

3. Either Season 1 or Hotel (unsure what season that one is).

4. Coven was my favorite , its very femme empowerment vibes and i live for it

7. Hotel. And then Hotel again.

8. Murder house (season 1) is probably the best in terms of writing/cohesiveness of plot (though I’ve heard amazing things about season 2 – I just can’t deal with crazy nuns/religion so I never made it past the first episode – but we do get the iconic “name game” scene from it!).

   I do have an insanely soft spot for Hotel but that’s only because Matt Bomer is literally the most gorgeous human to exist in this world and I’d probably watch him watch paint dry…so I’m probably biased in that rec LOL

9. 1. Coven: Jessica Lange/Angela Basset are perfection
   2. Murder House: Love the plot
   3. Hotel: Love the plot and Lady Gaga

10. So many good ones but my 2 favs are Hotel and Freak Show.

11. Asylum was really good!! Definitely one of the darker seasons though. Murder House is iconic but I personally feel like Asylum holds up better. (Will also second everyone saying Hotel, it’s a lot of fun!)
