I’ve been having horny thoughts about this guy for like 10 days now, like literally my hands are tired before I go to sleep. He is part of my in-class group and I dont know how to make it awkward if he rejects. I will be graduating this fall semester and honestly dont want to regret not telling him. We’ve met outside of classroom with class group two times and we have texted very little, just like class stuff here and there. I also dont know if he’s just nice or is looking for something after a college event on thursday (he agreed to giving me a ride even though he is not going to the event)

Just ask him and if he says no then just say you were dared. If he says yes then ask for date and time. 😁
You: “Hey, are you interested in maybe hooking up sometime, seeing if there is some chemistry between us? If not, it’s totally cool, I just thought there might be a spark there, but I’ve been wrong before.”
Him: “Yeah, totally, I’ve been trying to build up the nerve to ask you…”

Him: “Uh, I’m actually kind of seeing someone, but thanks though.”

The upside of the one outcome FAR outweighs the downside of the other. And the odds are that he’s giving you a ride to an event that he is not attending because he wants to bang you.
I suggest starting with the becoming friends part, then ask him. Or just be blunt, but depending on his character that might put hin off (I for sure would be put off, if a girl I only rarely interacted with would suddenly ask me to become fwb)
