We been broken up for 2 months, she left me, over the two months she’s been telling me how depressed she is and how this breakup is affecting her severely, she told me she isn’t seeing anyone but my gut told me otherwise, I asked her again if she was seeing anyone and the reply was no, we hung out last night and reconnected fully, had a great time to say the least, however when she asked if I could take out her trash I agreed, Halfway down the stairs the bag ripped and I saw a lot of used pregnancy test and packs of condoms, so I kept my cool and when I got to the door I had asked her why she lied to me ( she’s done this before) she acted dumb and told me she was “ paranoid about being pregnant and it’s nothing” I then asked again and she asked me to leave, I told her I was never going to see her again because this whole time she’s been lying to me, she cried and called the cops all while her son cried,I left and told her this would be the last time she saw me, am I in the wrong for getting upset? And did I do the right thing here? Part of me feels bad, but at the same time I’m forgiven her so much so similar things these past 3 years and I finally hit my limit.

  1. She’s single and owe no one an explanation why she’s enjoying being just that. Why are you nagging her about it?

  2. Maybe a little. You were hurt so you overreacted but you were broken up at the time so there really wasn’t anything wrong with what she did. It was also really messed up to do all that with her kid around.

  3. You deserve a level of honesty from your ex if this ‘hanging out’ was in anyway romantic (and led you to believe this might be some kind of pre-text for re-starting things).

However if it wasn’t romantic and was a platonic kind of hanging out then she doesn’t need to tell you anything about her sex-life.

I would say though you’ve probably not handled it well, by making statements like ‘im never going to see you again,’ seems to me like you were trying to hurt her when ‘im leaving’ would have sufficed.
