Heinz has too much sugar in it for me and they all have a weird texture.
The Sainsbury’s own brand ones you buy fresh in the fridge section are way better imo
Heinz soup is the best, pairs very nicely with oil paintings.
lidl own brand.
Because fucking idiots throw it at paintings.
soup is easy, cut veg into small pieces, throw in frying pan with a little oil, cook till soft add water seasoning and vegetable stock.
blend.
Never knew anyone was against it. Maybe cos it is twice as dear as own brand?
I do like to treat myself to a tin of their mulligatawny only because I don’t see it often in other brands.
Who’s upset about Heinz soup? It’s been a staple in our kitchens for decades.
I used to quite like tinned soups as a kid. Now, as an adult, I find they have a metallic taste. Soup is actually extremely easy to make.
Try using chorizo, bacon, or a little chopped-up-and-fried piece of meat as a base, and then finely chop some veg, and boil the lot in water for two hours. Serve with sour cream for flavour. Cost pennies and tastes so much better.
Baxter’s beef broth is not bad for tinned,I don’t like big veg in soup so my wife usually makes a big pan and uses the hand blender she does a mean pea and ham also
Buy a soup maker, if you’re into soup. They’re great.
