Yea ik you guys hear this a lot but i would appreciate some advice or support. Im 16 M (yes ik im still very young) but all my life I have lived in the same small town and always had the same group of friends where i met most of them playing baseball together. Now I am going to an all boys private school with only 3 of my friends from my old town. I am now a junior but in this school most people dont know any ody going into freshman year and when i was in freshman year, that was peak covid, we were mainly in school but we had masks, most sports were delayed and every desk was super far apart… and i think over time kids starting making friends through sports (which i dont do at this school) I can talk with people well and hold a conversation and like to talk abt football a lot. I have made some new friends but we all haf diff classes sophomore yearso now im just friends with then and we dont actually have a group. This also makes me worried about college since im gonna be going away to college will i even be able to make friends then? But considering this is an all boys school, theres no girls so i have not dated anyone since getting into this new school, but that is prob just because of my lack of effort. Any similar experiences or advice?
(And I am still good friends with the kids from my town)
