What was the most valuable thing you found?

  1. I found two of my kitties outside, so them. Well technically my dog found Woodhouse, she was standing over this tiny wet flea riddled kitten and wouldn’t come in until I took him inside to clean him up. Archer just walked into my house like “hello I live here now, where’s the food?”

  2. My mums sapphire engagement ring, woman vacuumed it up. I was emptying the vac bag into another bag to bin it and I saw my mums ring (thankfully!).

I only empty into another bag because I tend to vac earrings and bobby pins up so I was just checking for them, cannot stress how glad I am for my clumsiness saving my mums clumsy actions.

  3. Metal detecting in NS found a late 1800s cowbell on the shore. Later learned cattle were farmed and brought from Europe to be farmed in NS

  4. At a luxury hotel I found someone’s engagement ring in the public restroom sitting on the sink. I guess they took it off to wash their hands. I returned it to the hotel management of lost and found immediately.

  5. My first cat i ever owned. her name is Centine, great cat and funny but unfortunately, she died because my mom murdered her.

  6. I found countless earrings, necklaces, bracelets, annual season tickets for public transit, keys, glasses, money, you name it, in the deep part of the public pool under the diving platform. It’s funny what people keep in their pockets while jumping from there. Of course I keep the money. 😆

  7. Probably not the most valuable thing I’ve found, but finding €20 on the ice was quite the happening when I was 9. I still think back at it from time to time
