I wonder what is the true cause when some people get triggered/pissed off if someone says to them “I’m glad that you are happy” or “You seem happy” etc

  1. Maybe picking up on some jealousy or insincerity, like “well, I’m glad *you’re* happy”

  2. Probably somebody else thinking it’s necessary and appropriate to tell me how I feel.

  3. Because they are human and can get triggered if they want. It doesn’t trigger me, i just shake my head at how wrong they are.

  4. What’s worse is when people say ‘triggered’ when they mean ‘annoyed’.

    Words have meanings.
