And if so how can you tell?
Also do you think it’s good to build up your social media?
So when you meet women, they can do their research on you and not feel weirded out that you don’t have a social media presence.

The women online do, but the women that stay off of social media do not care.

Yes, unfortunately, the shallow ones do, and there are a lot of shallow women in the world. More seriously though, I have noticed a lot of women who claim they “don’t care” about social media presence will still obsessively stalk potential partners online to judge their value. Having no social media presence will absolutely hurt you with that demographic, but having a small or negative social media presence seems worse. Somehow only having like five friends online makes you a bigger loser than not being online at all.

Im a woman in my 20’s and I prefer men who aren’t super into social media. I don’t want a guy who will post certain aspects of our personal life online.
I never even gave this a second’s thought tbh. I think it matters if the girl is sort of young maybe? Like I once dated a girl (she wasn’t that young but she was immature) and she seemed to genuinely be bothered by the fact that I had an android. Said it ruined her image of me lmao.
