I recently realized that my ex that I haven’t been in contact with for 4 years STILL hates me. We dated for 2 years.
He badmouths me and writes insults about me online.
I always think of my Exs somewhat fondly after some time – even if it was a messy relationship. I don’t even hate my ex that cheated on me – it’s been a long time and things are different now.
But it does sort of pains me to know that my ex, who I have fond memories of – seems to hate me and claims that our relationship was hell. It turned sour and ended badly but i thought it was real while it lasted and we were so young.
So why would someone hate their ex after years? I saw that he was writing very mean/insulting comments about me, which I think was intended for me to see and feel bad about.
I guess I shouldn’t care either but I’m having one of those sleepless nights and wondering why my ex would think so lowly of me.

Kinda sad that he hasn’t moved on after four years. He sounds really insecure and immature. I’d just block him and move on with your life.
