  1. I have a few different types of favorite channels.

History/funny animation: Sam O’Nella – just crudely drawn animations on funny events/things in history, every video is a banger.

Music: Rob Scallion – Dives into random instruments, just entertaining to watch.

Music: Andrew Huang – lots of modular synth stuff, also collabs with Rob Scallon often (I like their album in a day thing they do yearly called 1st of October)

Music: Look mom no computer – wacky guy builds synth machines, currently has a small museum showcasing a lot of his work and he is working on a church organ build.

History: Townsend’s – historical reneactment of the early frontier US, just genuinely interesting content that is very relaxing, they delve into topics such as building houses, digging wells, lots of old cooking, etc. It’s interesting watching them build things using the old ways.

Tech: JerryRigEverything, while I don’t care too much for his teardowns, a lot of his projects are cool, notawheelchair is just fascinating, his garden project was cool, his electric humvee is dope, and he is just a down to earth guy who tries to do good, I think he is also funding a library to be built in Africa.

  3. If you like sports i cannot reccomend UrinatingTree highly enough. Funny and insightful breakdowns of playoffs and start of season projections. And his weekly this “week in sportsball” NFL recaps are great.

Alternate history hub is fun. As is Numberphile. LegalEagle can be good, and i like Extra Credits/history/mythology. They get shit on a lot, but i still enjoy Game Grumps. I also watch a lot of Vlogging through History and History guy gaming.

  4. Money and macro/ economics explained/ how money works for some simplified economics stuff. Majorkill and geetsly for scifi lore stuff (Warhammer and star wars). As for more broadly based topics I like cold fusion, bluejay and weird history.
