I’ll go first in the comments!

  1. In Mulan, she joined the army in the place of her old father who surely wouldn’t survive a war.

But when she initially fails training, she’s at risk of getting sent home. It’s even part of I’ll Make a Man Out of You. “You’re unsuited for the rage of war, so pack up, go home, you’re through.”

So if she can be sent home because she isn’t physically fit enough, wouldn’t her father have just been sent home too, making her taking his place kind of pointless?

  2. In “The Little Mermaid”, Ariel was able to sign her name. Which meant she could write, right? So what was stopping her from explaining to Eric her situation by writing?

Some say Ariel could *only* sign her name, but to me that doesn’t make sense. Cause they never *said* that, and if she could learn to sign her name with English letters, why wouldn’t she be taught to write? Especially as someone with a king for a dad.

  3. The Rings of Power…

There is much to say, I’ll just mention two things.

Why does Sauron try so many different lies to turn Galadriel to his side? shifting so easily between them automatically means he doesn’t actually mean any of them. As a wise and supposedly seductive being, he should have chosen one lie that is more likely to land in Galadriel’s heart, and STICK TO IT, convincing her that he honestly believes in what he’s saying. The whole scene is meant to show how morally strong Galadriel is, but only shows how plain and dumb is Sauron.

And the second stupidest thing ever. The harfoots, that supposedly have no higher value than each other, are SO easy to just abandon anyone who simply walks too slow. Brilliant. An elderly couple carrying a whole house like horses, are seriously concerned that their people will abandon them on a hard journey.

  4. Harry Potter, why was Ron allowed to bring a garden rat to Hogwarts?

Gossip Girl, Chuck had a PI on speed dial but he didn’t bother to hire the guy to find Gossip Girl. Dan as Gossip Girl didn’t make sense at all! He made a post about his 15yo sister’s sex life! Why didn’t anyone call the cops???

  5. I watched the movie good luck chuck for fun when it was on Netflix. It wasn’t even an plot hole or inconsistency the movie just shifted to happily ever after. Which I absolutely hate when they have just not enough time or it randomly gets fixed it was the stupidest movie I’ve ever seen and I have never not liked anything about a movie.

  6. Harry Potter – the map! Jesus, the map. The twins didn’t notice there was another man sleeping in Ron’s bed for three years??

Also, Harry should have seen the thestrals the whole time and why isn’t everyone stockpiling Felix Felicis??

    I will see myself out.

  7. Twilight . The whole franchise but specifically breaking dawn . With the fetus growing extremely quickly why would they not have planned a c section ? Yes the baby would have been premature however it would’ve caught up in days if not hours . I understand it was something they had never seen and didn’t know the outcome but had something gone wrong there could been much more measures and precautions. Bella having her spinal cord severed and snapping shouldn’t have been the turning point .

  8. In the black knight when Batman jumps out the window to save Rachel, but Batman leaves joker in his place with all of his friends and it just cuts to next seen. Did the joker just peacefully leave? Did Batman’s friends all die and he didn’t care because Rachel was safe?

  9. To add to the Harry Potter comments: giving a 13 y.o. girl a devise that’s potentially dangerous and highly regulated by the government so that she can take 2-3 extra classes always seemed like a questionable decision to me.
