What’s the difference between aging and maturing?

  1. Aging is just getting older maturing is gaining more understanding of the world and yourself at least that’s how it’s always been explained to me. Mature is also used as a “polite ” way to refer to someone who is older

  2. Maturity has a lot to do with experience. It can be measured by your resiliency quotient – how you were able to pick yourself up when life threw a wrench at you.
Aging is the normal order of the human body – you are born, you age, and you die.
Is maturity a goal? Maybe. But, not everyone has to go through difficult challenges all their lives.
