I’m 18f and I still haven’t found my clit yet. So far I’ve researched many diagrams and pictures, masturbated plenty of times and looked at myself in the mirror. I can only find my clitoral hood, and wonder if I just have a really small clit that hasn’t been stimulated properly, or a really hooded clit, or both. I really want to get to know my body better and learn what feels good, but I’m not sure what steps I need to take.

  1. If you can find your clitoral hood, then the externally accessible portion of your clitoris is kind of under it. Mine reveals if I position my fingertips right above it and then drag them toward my mons pubis to “lift” the hood.

It’s possible you do have anatomy that makes it difficult or impossible to reveal.

  2. If you know where your hood is, the clit is under there. Note that the size can vary, as can the ability to retract the hood. If you are very turned on, the clit itself will swell, allowing it to be revealed more easily.

Have you tried a vibrator directly on/around the clitoral hood? You can vary the pressure, should be able to stimulate the clit even through the hood. As you get closer to orgasm, you may find it easier to reveal the clit.

It may be worth a chat with your OB/GYN if you still cannot reveal your clit after this sort of stimulation.

  3. They call it “the little man in the boat” because if you spread yourself open it looks just like that, a boat shape with a bulb in it.
