every friend l make either is from a broken family or is extremely depressed or has anger issues and in some cases is schizophrenic.
l made this post because l wanna make healthy friends, not ones who get angry and break out on me, or just be abusive in many cases (mentally and sometimes physically), so reddit,, how do l go about making healthy friends (sorry for the text being so short)

  1. First thing to wonder is why do you connect with these people in the first place? What draws you to them? And what about you, are you in a good place mentally? Are there ‘healthy’ people around you (like at school) you could connect with?

    I think it’s worth exploring why damaged people are your only friends so far and to work on that.

  2. Find the world where most people aren’t being pressed thin between low wages and shitty circumstances.

  3. Same situation. Maybe you’re mentally ill and broken yourself? Because you attract what you are. I always wondered why all my boyfriend and best friends were like that. I did some research on mental illnesses and attachment and now I don’t wonder anymore.
