Have you ever had to work with someone who is, all in all, a good, helpful co-worker, but they just happened to have the type of personality that sometimes came across as malicious or devious, but in a sneaky, veiled way? How did that go?

  2. If they do their job, I really don’t care about their personality. I’m there to work.

  4. When I was an intern at a prestigious company in college, an exec’s assistant gave me important advice. They said, “be pleasant, do your work well, and cover your ass.”

    I’ve kept that with me for years… I will do my job well, and also keep receipts, in case someone tries to blame me for something that went wrong. Never assume someone is out to get you, but if they do… have documentation.
