We all know Reese’s win and candy-corn sucks, but where does the rest of it fall? What was a high value candy trade when you were a kid?

  1. 1-Almond joy/mounds

    2-Butterfinger

    3-Reese’s Pieces

    4-Regular Reese’s

    5-Twix

    Last-Circus peanuts

  2. I’m not big on caramel but loved Whoppers so I’d make out like a bandit trading Milky Ways and Snickers for them

  3. Name-brand chocolate is top tier. Just below that are name-brand gummies and chewy stuff. Jolly rancher, tootsie pops and some other hard candies are below that. No-name generics, cheap “chocolatey-flavored” items, and Smarties are at the bottom.

  4. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

    Swedish Fish

Twizzlers (that are different/better than the standard Twizzlers for some reason)

    Snickers

    100 Grand

    Baby Ruth

    Twix

    Sour Patch Kids

    Milky Way

    Tootsie Rolls

    Jolly Ranchers

    3 Musketeers

  5. 1. Dark chocolate Hershey Kisses with almonds.
    2. Kit Kat, any type
    3. Twix

    All others are inferior

  6. #1 Reese’s, KitKat, Twix, butterfinger, snickers, sour patch kids

#2 whoppers, milkduds, skittles, dumb dumbs, Swedish fish, twizzlers

#3 mounds, almond joy, Milky Way, jolly ranchers, nerds, sixlets

Should not be allowed: smarties, tootsie rolls, tootsie pops and all those other flavored tootsie rolls

  7. 1) kinder chocolate bars

    2) Swedish fish

    3) Milk duds

    4) Haribo peach rings

    5) Red vines

    Last: Hershey’s

  8. Chocaolate + peanut butter candy (Reese’s, Butterfinger)

Chocolate + nougut/caramel/nuts candy (Snicker’s, Milky Way, Twix, etc.)

Chocolate + extras (Krackle, Crunch bar, etc.)

    Plain chocolate

    Candy corn

Chewy fruit flavored candy (Starburst, Skittles)

    Tootsie Rolls

    Circus Peanuts

    Razor blades

    Blow Pops/Tootsie Roll Pops

  9. – MR GOODBARS (these are elite and I will hear no disagreement)

    – Reese’s

    – crunch bars / krackles

    – hersheys bars with almonds

    – Kit Kats

    – snickers (but only the little square ones)

    – smarties

    – jolly ranchers

    – M&ms any kind

    – butterfingers / Twix

    – hersheys bars

    – pink or red starbursts

No thanks: skittles, tootsie rolls, yellow or orange starbursts, Swedish fish, milk duds, twizzlers, reeces peices

  10. My strongest opinion on candy is that Tootsie Rolls are absolute garbage.

I like anything with chocolate and peanut butter or caramel, generally. Snickers might be my favorite candy bar but I dunno. I’ve always had a soft spot for smarties, too.

  11. I love Reese’s (especially the pumpkins) and I like candy corn if it’s mixed with peanuts, so I’m not the best judge.

I will say as a kid I didn’t like non-chocolate candy, I gave everyone all of my Spree and Starburst and Skittles for their 3 Musketeers and Milky Way.

  12. 1. Reeses peanut butter cups

    2. Almond joy

    3. Lemon heads

    4. Pretzels (chocolate covered or plain)

    5. Twix

  13. S Tier – Full sized candy bars, cash, good home made treats (caramel apples), edibles, or similar epic items fall into here.

A Tier – Snickers, Reese’s cups, and Twix.

B Tier – M&M’s, skittles, Butterfingers, nerds, crunch, chocolate bars, 100 grand, starbursts, baby ruth, and sour patch kids

C Tier – Mounds/Almond Joy, jr mints, payday, reese’s pieces, jolly ranchers, smarties, laughy taffy, 3 musketeers, milky way, Charleston chews, twizzler’s and milk duds

D Tier – tootsie rolls/pops, dots, good n’ plenty, now n’ latter, bubble gum, and most unidentified/generic/off brand hard candies/chocolates

F Tier – raisins, fruit, toothbrush/paste, PB kisses (those black and orange things), wax candy(lips/fangs), candy corn, candy pumpkins, and sugar free anything.

  14. Snickers are my #1 of all time. I would basically sacrifice all other candy and just have snickers if I had to.

Also, a rare one to find at Halloween but a real treat if I did: Whatchamacallits. SO good. Highly underrated candy bar.

Unpopular opinion, but I hate Tootsie Rolls. I would always trade those immediately. Frooties though, the fruit-flavored Tootsie Rolls, are great.

Really any kind of hard candy or sour candy was a pass from me.
