As a man I feel sometimes I’m oblivious of certain issues women face and that’s why I genuinely want to know if women think that men and women can be friends with out anyone wanting something more. Obviously I know that every girl is different but generally speaking do most women assume that if a guy asks them to hang out and grab ice cream, that the guy is somewhat interested in them? Is it a bad thing if a guy makes his intentions known sooner rather than later? Because I hear it takes time for a girls to develop feelings for a guy. Most Guys on the other hand just find a girl that’s attractive and then if they are an interesting person then they start catching feelings right away. Like if I get coffee or lunch with a girl and she’s just looking for a friend and then I ask her out on an actual date, apparently I’m the bad guy because “I just see her for her looks” I never have a sense of entitlement, and this has been a problem for me because I assumed that most girls want to be friends with guys first before they start dating. It’s just difficult reading signals from girls.

Look at it from this perspective. You are two guys meeting in a bar. You talk for a bit, meet up, and you feel the friendship growing. You meet outside of the bar for a common activity, you think this guy is really a good friend.

Then you meet and he tells you that the reason he talks to you is because he wants you to invest in a building project he has.

Now, this is a Great project, and you would have invested, but now you feel used. Because this guy wasted so much if your time with an alterior motive. He didnt want to be friends.

Girls feel the same way when you are with them on false pretences.

So please, be honest. For their sake and for yours, the friendzone is not somewhere you want to be!
