I have been seeing this girl for about 2 months. Just recently asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes. We have kissed and made out once. Some dirty flirting over text every once and a while. Should I bring up sex in a discussion before we ever have sex? Things like if/when she is comfortable having sex for the first time, birth control options, kinks, fantasies, etc. Or should I just go with the flow like everyone says and see if she says she is ready or not when I try to initiate?

It hurts me that this has to be said, but here goes: Yes. You should discuss sex with your new gf before you have sex. BTW, discussing sex before you have sex can be totally hot if you do it right.
I think talking about fantasies and kinks before the first time is kinda out there so it depends on your girl and what you think she’d be comfortable with. But the birth control is v important bc you don’t want to be caught out or make a silly mistake because you weren’t prepared.
