For those of you with a spouse who is significantly less attractive physically than you, is that an issue? Do you get hit on in front of your spouse? Do people make comments (asking how you two got together but in a “how in the world did that happen?” sort of way)? Do you sometimes lament being married to your spouse for that reason?

It’s one thing to notice one being more attractive than the other – even though that’s a very subjective matter in itself. It’s a completely different thing (and incredibly rude, shallow and just awful) to say it out loud. Yuck.
Um… I feel like you are reading what you want to about the people asking how you two got together. Did you purposefully seek out a partner much less attractive than you in order to feel better about yourself? Maybe work on your self esteem and this will not matter to you
