That’s how we all feel about our secret kinks. I held mine in for 20+ years, and wish I’d been open about them much sooner. It’s all about trust and comparability. Maybe you should be up front about things when looking for partners. You don’t have to go right into specifics, but you could say “I have some submission and care kinks, and I’d like to explore them with the right loving soul.” If 9 women turn you down, but #10 is into it, then it was 9 no’s worth hearing. But if you always keep it hidden, there’s little to no chance of it ever happening.
Kinks are extremely common. “Regular” people definitely have them.

First of all, if this is a conversation between friends, you can be sleek and say “oh I know someone they’re into this and that” to test the waters, you don’t have to say it’s you.
If it’s with a partner, just be honest, they might not be into it, therefor you won’t be doing it but if they shame you, they’re not for you.
This isn’t even that bad, I think a lot of woman would like this.
